What data plans can I use?
PureCam is compatible with T-Mobile.
What does the PureCam record?
Your PureCam continuously records while you’re driving. Depending on the size of your Micro SD card and resolution of your videos you can record.
PureCam Live Streaming Data Usage
Depending on the resolution of your live streaming videos. Please reference the chart.
Who can see my videos?
Your PureCam videos are only shared with users that have scanned your PureCam QR code.
Can I use the PureCam anywhere in the world?
No. The PureCam is only compatible with the cellular network bands used in North America.

Do I need any additional equipment to install my PureCam?
Your PureCam box contains everything needed for installation and needs no additional equipment.
Where can I get my PureCam installed?
The PureCam is simple to install, however, if you would like professional installation, your PureCam can be installed by your local car shop that installs car products.  You can use Google Maps to search for one of these key relevant phrases...
Do I need the cable management clips?
The enclosed cable management clips help to provide extra support in securing the cables and keep them tidy and out of sight.
How do I install the suction mount on my dashboard?
Be sure the latch next to the suction device is unlocked and flipped up. Press the suction cup to the windshield (makes sure your windshield is clean and unobstructed) and once in place flip down the latch. Click Read More to watch the installation guide.

Troubleshooting
I just called to activate my SIM card, but I am not receiving any signal.
After the SIM card is activated, it will take approximately an hour before it is fully activated.
Can I add multiple PureCams to my PureCam app?
Yes, you can add up to 3 PureCams to one account.
How do I get the video clips to my phone?
Your PureCam allows you to download video clips from your PureCam app. (Please note, your PureCam must be turned on in order to download via the app). You can also use your computer and a Micro SD card adapter to transfer videos directly from the Micro SD card to your computer.
Is connecting with PureCam’s Wi-Fi hotspot necessary? Will my phone use PureCam’s data plan?
Yes, it is recommended to connect to your PureCam’s Wi-Fi hotspot to prevent false notifications. Yes, it will use your PureCam’s data plan. Please be aware that using your PureCam WiFi hotspot can result in higher data plan fees.

Yes, you can add up to 3 PureCams to one account.
If you get a message on your app that says “Connection Error”
If you have more than one user paired to your PureCam, make sure they are not currently live streaming or attempting to live stream. The PureCam only allows one user to live stream at a time.
How does the PureCam screensaver work?
When screen saver is turned ON, the PureCam will still record (screen will have no image/black screen). Press any button on the PureCam to view the screen.
Can I grant access to multiple users?
Yes, you can add an unlimited number of users. Please note, they must set up an account to view your PureCam. Download the app from the app store to set up the account.
What type of Nano SIM cards are compatible with the PureCam?
If you are going to use a Nano SIM card other than one sold through PureCam, it must first be a compatible Network.

I've heard that plugging items into the OBD-II connector port can void my car warranty?
The PureCam only draws power from the OBD-II connector (not data) and we have been careful to ensure no harm is done to the vehicle by using the product.
Where is my IMEI located?
Your IMEI number is on the bottom of your PureCam packaging. You can also locate it on your PureCam under Settings>QR Code (not the App).
